The shop is in the midst of a few different projects.  Projects out at paint, or out for some extensive sheetmetal work at Jim Bailie's Customs.  Never a dull moment. The projects in the shop continue to progress, all at different stages.  Let Lowdown Hot Rods know if they can help you with your project. Give the shop a call!

Jr Dragsters have started racing. A semi final win for Austin and a runner-up win for Brody.  Great start to the season!

Apr 4/08

Do you ever think that winter will leave?  It's snowing today, it's April for goodness sake!  Go away! The shop continues with our projects.  We have a couple of new projects that should be arriving mid month.  One is a little different then we usually do but it should be interesting. Check back later in the month for photos.

Congratulations to Austin's Guelph Jr Storm Minor PeeWee AA hockey team for making to the Tri-county championship finals.  It was a great effort from the whole team but they came up short to clinch the title.

Mid March already, where has the time went.  Oh right, getting ready for Performance World Custom Car and Truck Show, which was a great success for Lowdown Hot Rods. Our 4 cars got finished on time and all did well at the show.

Work continues on our other projects in the shop. We now will start to get a couple of cars ready for next years Performance World show.  Check out our photo galleries for photos from the show.

Feb 22/08

All I can say is holy smokes, where is the time flying!  With Performance World Custom Car Show just around the corner, the shop continues to get the cars ready for the show.  Each one is at a different stage, but all continue down the road to completion!

Nov 30/07

Well I think winter has landed.  Hot rods and race cars are put away for the winter and plans for next  season are underway!  Just remember, if you would like to have updates or repairs done, book in now!

With the soaring C$, it is a great time to book in your project and take advantage of our buying power!  Parts are cheaper and our labour rate is still lower than our US counterparts.

Al's race car is done! Plans are underway for next season and when testing can begin.  The projects in the shop are moving along.  Lots of sheetmetal work being done.

Rod and Tina Saboury's Xtreme Vette takes a top spot at SEMA 2007

Lowdown Hotrods is extremely proud to have one of our creations take a top spot at such a prestigeous show.  To place within the top 10 is an honour, but to have taken the #3 spot is overwhelming!  Congratulations to Rod and Tina!  Below is a link to the official release posted by SEMA!
